Glass Fiber Wick
All paraffin wick heaters require a wick for proper operation. Each of our wick heaters is supplied with a wick pre-installed. Glass fiber wicks are typically made from a combination of cotton and glass-ceramic fibers. Over time, the wick will gradually harden due to continuous exposure to paraffin, and it is therefore recommended to replace it approximately once a year.
The glass fiber wick can be replaced by yourself. Detailed instructions for replacing the wick can be found in the instruction manual of your wick heater, which also includes illustrations of the replacement process.
